If you’re going to spend $1.5 Million on a sports car, you might as well get something for your money. Swiss speed-demons Weber seem to think that owning the fastest street-legal car in the world would be enough, but let’s have a closer look. Sure, a supercharged General Motors V-8 engine that produces 900 hp and reaches a top speed of 261 mph does make one’s mouth water. Consider an all-wheel drive, all carbon fiber body, Pirelli high performance 20” tires, and GPS navigation, not to mention an air-brake rear spoiler (!) that deploys in about half-a-second. Speaking of seconds, it only takes 2.5 of them for the Faster One to hit 62 mph. Kind of makes you sit up straight, doesn’t it? This is certainly a precision instrument, but one wonders how often you could get to the Autobahn to drive the darn thing, even if it is “street-legal”. Practical? Nah. Fun to drive? You bet.
